Interscope‘s latest recruit, Iggy Azalea recently sat with RapFix and revealed that T.I. will be the executive producer on her debut album, The New Classic.

“T.I.’s gonna be helping me with it, kind of A&R-ing, kind of executive producing,” Azalea said. “He called me up like, ‘Please?’ and I was like, ‘Definitely. You’re Tip; I love you — of course.’ So he’s gonna be helping me out, just reaching out to people and helping me find production and pointing me in the direction of things that I might like.”

What better co-sign for a new artist than one from a hip-hop heavyweight. Fresh off signing a label deal with Interscope Records, Iggy Azalea revealed that her debut album for now titled The New Classic, will be executive produced by “The King.” This will be the first time Iggy and T.I. will be working together.

It’s funny that this is the 3rd related post about B.o.B‘s “Strange Clouds” seeing that I’ve already stated that I don’t really like this song. I like this version with T.I. & Young Jeezy better than the original with Weezy but not by much. The video is pretty simple affair and it looks like it was done quickly. You can’t really be mad at that though because you’ll probably notice that it’s never a shot in the video with all three rappers together.

Also, I’m just going to assume that the Tip & Jeezy joint album is a go.

New Music: Common – “Come Up Show Freestyle”

Common’s promo tour made a stop to Cosmic Kev’s Come Up Show. So you know Lonnie had to give a couple freestyles for the listeners, here he goes over French Montana’s “Shot Caller” and Jay-Z’s “Streets Is Watching”.

The Kang and his queen end the first season of their VH1 reality show by teaching their children the values of giving back during the holidays. Giving is greater than receiving indeed. Glad it all worked out.
